This is the first presentation I gave at BYU Education week in 2014 regarding the LDS Church's digital resources available through LDS.org. This presentation is high level and requires presenters to understand the content included in the presentation before presenting.

6. CHANGING WORLD
We live in a changing world. Technology has altered
nearly every aspect of our lives. We must cope with
these advances even these cataclysmic changes in
a world of which our forbears never dreamed.
President Thomas S. Monson
Ensign, May 2003
11. CARRY THE GOSPEL
President Hinckley added to his powerful, emotional witness a list of
concerns for the future. One of his concerns particularly stuck in my
mind. His worry was that with the great growth of the Church
throughout the world, it would become increasingly difficult for the
Apostles to reach all members of the Church and personally
admonish them to live the gospel. Thus, the future would bring greater
reliance on technology to carry the gospel message to the worldwide
Church.
Elder L. Tom Perry
Ensign, May 2000
12. INVENTIONS
I believe that the Lord is anxious to put
into our hands inventions of which we
laymen have hardly had a glimpse.
President Spencer W. Kimball
Ensign, October 1974
17. INVENTIONS
Missionaries could be supplied with small portable cassette tape players
and go into the homes with prepared messages to humble family groups
all around the globe. Millions of people are anxious and willing to learn, if
only they can hear the sound in their own language and in a manner
that they can grasp and understand
Just think what can be accomplished when we broadcast our message in
many languages over numerous radio stations, large and small, around
the world, and millions of good people listening on their transistors are
being indoctrinated with the truth.
President Spencer W. Kimball
Ensign, October 1974
