Bill Gates has been quoted as saying ""I choose a lazy person to do a hard job. Because a lazy person will find an easy way to do it."
Is he right? Here's our take on the subject from about 12 years ago.
2. Bill Gates Idea
Iwill always chose a lazy person to do a difficult
job, because, he will find an easy way to do it.
Is this a sensible approach?
As alwaysit depends
And were going to take an unsubtle look at it..
3. The stupid-lazy dilemma
The classic idea is that the ideal employee or
person is intelligent and diligent.
This may NOT always be true.
It
depends on what your business context is or
what you want to achieve.

Editor's Notes
#6: Note that this whole discussion assumes that people have a certain energy level. A low energy person is less use than a high energy person.but at the same energy levels a Lazy smart person is more useful than a diligent smart person. The diligent person will use their energy to do the task the same way as before. The lazy person will use their energy to do something else after theyve identified an easier solution.
