This psychology experiment sought to determine whether a person's behavior is more related to their internal disposition or external situation. It divided participants into three groups: Group A was instructed to insult an actor inside a room, Group B saw their friends insult the actor, and Group C received no instruction. The experiment considered ethical issues like the safety of the actor and psychological effects on participants from deceiving them and having the actor pretend to be a bully.
