Sheila Hickey Garvey is an artistic associate and resident director who has directed over 50 productions across various theaters and universities. Some of her most notable works include the world premiere of the opera Letter from Italy, 1944 and a documentary about its creation. She has received awards for her women's initiative production and invited productions at regional theater festivals. Garvey has a Ph.D. in Performance Studies from NYU and over 40 years of experience in directing, producing, and staging readings.
