SMEs will lead the way: decision on project organisation and
collaboration (e.g. if subcontracting is necessary or not)

ICT 37-2014-15 Open Disruptive Innovation
Scheme (SME Instrument) under LEITs-ICT
Support to a large set of early stage high risk innovative SMEs in the ICT sector.
SMEs proposing innovative ICT concept, product and service applying new sets
of rules, values and models which ultimately disrupt existing markets.
Potential for fast market up-take in ICT.
Validation, fast prototyping and demonstration of disruptive innovation, bearing
a strong EU dimension.
Budget: 45 mln EUR (4.5 for Phase 1, 39.6 for Phase 2, 0.9 for mentoring and
coaching support for Phase 3). Same budgets for 2014 and 2015.
Deadlines:
Phase 1: 18/06/2014, 24/09/2014, 17/12/2014.
2015: 18/03/2015, 17/06/2015, 17/09/2015, 16/12/2015.
Phase 2: 09/10/2014, 17/12/2014. Same for 2015 as Phase 1.
Information on the outcome of the evaluation after the deadline: 2 months for
Phase 1, 4 months for Phase 2.
