Design should come at the beginning of any project to organize information and persuade audiences. Effective design makes conscious decisions about inclusion and exclusion of elements, uses contrast intentionally, and achieves unity through consistent alignment and spacing of elements without appearing random or making audiences think too much about deciphering the design.
