3. Help a Child: Your donation will help provide critical support to children in

4. Help a Family: Your donation will help us address some of the
most pressing needs of impoverished families through family
assistance programs like these:
Lifeline Food Program: Helps struggling families provide
adequate nutrition to their children, identifies and treats
malnourishment, provides emergency food for families in the
aftermath of disasters and supplies healthy meals for
schoolchildren.
Miracles on Hold: Helps us cover the costs of delivering
products like medicine, clothing, books, shoes and more to
families in need of immediate support.
5. Help a Community
One of the most effective ways to help children in need is to improve the
communities in which they live. These contributions will be used for the
following large-scale community support programs:
Community Center Campaign: Our community centers, medical and
dental clinics, playgrounds and sports fields are built right in the
communities we support.
Skills Training: Provides job and life skills to sponsored youth through a
variety of programs designed to help them build successful futures
capable of helping lift entire communities out of poverty.
Disaster Relief: Helps relieve the suffering of impoverished families with
no place to turn when disasters strike the communities we serve.
Clean Water Sources: Building clean water sources in impoverished
communities is one of the surest ways to change lives dramatically. Access
to clean water gives poor families the ability to live in more sanitary
conditions, drink and cook without getting ill, and reach a greater level of
dignity than before.
6. Host a street carnival:
Get a bouncing castle onto the street complete rented with
music or band. Allow people to play games for small amounts
of money and charge an entry fee. This is a great joint event
idea where many charities in your community can come
together to all have different booths and raise money.
7. Organize a competition:
Have a competition say sports or fashion. Members of public
will pay to participate in voting or tasting foods or sampling
fashion as they donate to the cause. Just be aware of local
laws regarding competitions before you start, so you can
make sure that your competition is legal!
8. Striking gold:
Organize for members of a community to donate old items for cash.
Auction the items on the spot for a small profit, or simply sell them
in a huge rummage sale. You can also organize a community
rummage sale where each participant keeps their profits, but pays a
small fee to have a table.
Organize a cooking face off:
Allow people to show off their skills by paying to participate in a
cooking competition. You can have both amateur and professional
categories, so everyone can compete. Allow the public to
participate by paying a small fee then tasting and voting, or have
them vote with cash, and the cook with the most money at the end
wins!
9. Do not ignore crowd funding:
One big mistake people make is to ignore the power of social
media. Create a portal where people can give toward a certain
cause and promote it via twitter or Facebook for maximum impact.

Pump in the money:
Organize volunteers at gas stations to wait on drivers. They should

car washes.
