This oxygen in the atmosphere is needed by all living organism for respiration. Without oxygen no animal or plant can survive on this earth!
The roots of trees help in absorbing the water from the ground and bring it up to the leaves. The excess water is sent out through the stomata and so the water vapour is released into the atmosphere.

Many plants and animals live there. Rainforests are very important to the earth and are also beneficial to us. They help clean the air that we breathe. Rainforests are not only good for cleaning air, but they also give us chocolate, sugar, cinnamon, and medicine. The Amazon rainforest is a good example of this. The Amazon Rainforest is located in Brazil but it is also located in other South American countries including Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia, Guyana, Bolivia, Suriname and French Guiana. This Rainforest has been known as the biggest rainforest in the world. Its also been known as Lungs of our Planet because it provides the essential cycle of turning carbon dioxide into oxygen.
