This document provides a walking tour summary of Pershotravneva Street, noting several buildings along the route that were formerly owned by Jewish residents prior to 1941. Notable sites mentioned include a former synagogue that is now a praying house, the ruins of a main city synagogue, and wealthy Jewish homes across from the synagogue. The document encourages checking out street views of the area from summer 2015 to see what it looks like now.
5. Lets go up the street. This is the former synagogue – now the
praying house of Sabbatarian (semi-christian). The ruins on
the background was the building of the main city synagogue,
but I am doubt .
9. Now, the houses on the opposite side. I was told in local
museum, that it was jewish houses and even shown the name
list of its residents from 1941.
10. The houses in front of the synagogue – it must have been the
wealthy jewish residents.
11. The first two buildings are in government`s property. But,
unfortunately, this one got into private ownership…
13. My favorite building in this city, actually. I should to write down
the name of the jewish owner of this house from 1941, from
15. The next red building.
