I have known Mr. Piedmonte as a student for four years in the academic classroom, on stage as a performer, and as an administrative colleague to the Opera Outreach Program at Western Kentucky University. He is exemplary in all facets and adheres to excellence and professionalism in the categories of work ethic, punctuality, reliability, and academic competence. Dominics eagerness to learn, positive attitude, and personal engagement in his studies are a testament to the quality of his character. Dominics passion about being an educator of music is evident and I feel he would excel as a positive role model, colleague, and employee in any workplace. Dominic took the opportunity, outside of any music degree requirements, to participate as a summer intern with the nationally recognized Glimmerglass Opera Company, because he wanted more insight to the world of Arts Administration and Arts Outreach. In addition, he acted as an assistant to me in successfully designing and implementing the new Opera Outreach Program at Western Kentucky University and conducts private voice lessons with local high school students.
