According to the census conducted in 2011,
Dragus village population amounts to 1,162
inhabitants, down from the previous census in
2002, when it had registered 1,187
inhabitants. Most inhabitants are Romanian
(98.28%). For 1.64% of the population, ethnicity
is not known. In terms of religious, most
people are Orthodox (97.5%). For 1.64% of the
population is not known confessional.

In 1733, Romanian bishop united with Rome
when Innocent Micu-Klein held a census in
Transylvania, the Romanian village Drăguș
(spelled: Drăguș), they were reviewed a number
of 120 families. In other words, Drăguș 1733,
lived about 600 people. Record the same
