DSW is a discount retailer of shoes, handbags, and accessories that opened in 1991. It currently operates 305 stores across 39 states and launched an online store in 2008. DSW targets men and women of all demographics with a broad selection of brand name and private label merchandise at reasonable prices. It aims to create a unique in-store experience and uses various digital channels and loyalty programs to engage customers. Going forward, DSW plans to improve its mobile site integration and focus on developing an omnichannel strategy to provide a seamless shopping experience across all channels.
