This document summarizes a 6-week course for dads and male caregivers that took place in Durham, England. The course involved visits to three local museums - Preston Hall, Shildon Locomotion, and Hartlepool Maritime Museum. During the visits, the groups read stories and did educational activities to take home. They also wrote weekly summaries about their experiences. The course was a partnership between local museums, family learning programs, and nurseries. It was later adapted for groups in Peterlee and Shildon that involved additional community partners like a soccer club and museum. A separate women-only course was also requested.
