Can the program be completed online?
The Child Development Specialist, TCC is available totally online.
The diploma and degree programs require lab hours. Some courses require campus attendance and/or job site experience.
Will these courses transfer to a university if I decide to complete a higher degree?
Moultrie Tech is part of the Technical Colleges System of Georgia. We currently hold a different accreditation than the universities. We are in
the process of seeking a new accreditation so that their will be seamless transfer of courses. If your long term goal is a higher degree, one
of the university system schools may be a better choice. However, our program provides an employable credential in less than 2 years. We
can get you out there and get you working.
What is I have a criminal record? Can I still enroll?
We do not deny enrollment to any student, however, you will not be able to complete the program (any courses which have lab hours) without
submitting a clear check.
