Polyvinyl acetate is commonly used in water-based paints and adhesives. Polypropylene is used in packaging, plastic parts for industries like automobiles, and textiles. Buna-S, also known as nitrile rubber, is a synthetic rubber made from acrylonitrile and butadiene monomers that maintains its shape when stretched but returns to its original length when released.

ABSTRACT
Subject: Important applications of polyvinyl acetate, poly propylene, BUNA- S
A polymer is any of a class of natural or synthetic substances composed of very
large molecules, called macromolecules, which are multiples of simpler chemical
units called monomers. some of the important polymers used in our daily life are
polyvinyl acetate, polypropylene, BUNA-S, etc. polyvinyl acetate (PVAc),
a synthetic resin prepared by the polymerization of vinyl acetate. In its most
important application, polyvinyl acetate serves as the film-forming ingredient in
water-based (latex) paints; it also is used in adhesives. Polypropylene (PP) is a
thermoplastic addition polymer made from the combination of propylene
monomers. It is used in a variety of applications to include packaging for consumer
products, plastic parts for various industries including the automotive industry,
special devices like living hinges, and textiles. Buna-N is a commonly used
elastomer. Buna-N is also known as Nitrile rubber, NBR or Perbunan. It is
synthetic rubber copolymer of acrylonitrile (ACN) and butadiene. Elastomer is
natural or synthetic material which does not break when stretched and when
released it return to its original length.
