Early childhood learning models are important for developing key skills in toddlers before they enter school. During ages 0-4, nurturing and active experiences help thicken an infant's brain cortex and lay the foundation for future learning. Pre-school helps build both the "soft skills" of social and emotional development, like following directions and asking for help, as well as "hard skills" like counting, writing, and problem solving, which prepares them for academic success.
