This is an interactive and participatory exhibition about EcoBatikheld in Universitas Indonesia, October 5-8 2010.Run by 23 students of  Department of Archaeology¡¯s ¡°museum exhibition¡± class and the lecturers!
Eco Batik is Indonesian traditional textile made  and coloured by natural  dyes and its effluent is recyclable
We exhibited the examples of Eco Batik
As well as displayed the plants that produced the natural dyes
Visitors were allowed to touch and smell the plants that produced the natural dyes
Visitors were able to experience the batik making (using canthing cap)
Visitors were able to experience the batik making (using canthing tulis)
Then we displayed their work within the exhibition!
Visitors could play the puzzle of Batik¡¯s motifs and reveal the stories behind each motifs!
Moreover, we exhibited photo story of Batik  industry and its effect to the environment
As well as the testimonies from people within the Batik industry
We encouraged visitors to write their own story about their effort to protect the environment!
And to vote aboutEco Batik issue!
