The education system of Uzbekistan consists of pre-school, general secondary, secondary specialized/vocational, and higher education. It is regulated by the national law on education and aims to develop students' knowledge, skills, and abilities. Higher education includes bachelor's and master's degrees delivered through universities, academies, and institutes. It prepares experts in various fields and grants graduates the right to work in their specialization or continue training.

EducationalsystemisregulatedbytheLawofthe RepublicofUzbekistanOne ducationandconsistsof: pre-schooleducation;generalsecondary;secondary specialandvocational;undergraduate,graduate education;in-servicetrainingandre-trainingofhuman resources;extracurriculareducation.
Pre-schooleducationaimsattheformationofahealthy andvibrantpersonalityofthechildpreparedforschool.Itis carriedouttosixorsevenyearsinthefamily,kindergarten andothereducationalinstitutions,regardlessofownership. Secondarygeneraleducation Secondarygeneraleducation: primaryeducation(I-IVclasses); generalsecondaryeducation(I-IXgrades).
Primaryeducationisaimedatlaying thefoundationsof literacy,knowledgeandskillsnecessaryforgeneral secondaryeducation.Inthefirstclassofschoolchildren takensixorsevenyears. Generalsecondaryeducationnecessaryknowledge,and skillsofindependentthinking,organizationalabilityand practicalexperience,initialcareercounselingandchoiceof thenextstageofeducation.Forthedevelopmentofabilities andtalentsofchildrencanbecreatedspecializedschools.
Secondaryspecializedvocationaleducation,withdurationof threeyears,onthebasisofgeneralsecondaryeducationis compulsoryindependent kindofcontinuingeducationsystem andimplementedinaccordancewiththelawsoftheRepublicof Uzbekistan"OnEducation"and"OntheNationalProgramfor Training ."Secondaryspecializedvocationaleducationprovides in-depthstudyofbasicknowledgeandtrainingtoindependent practicalworkintheirchosenprofessionasananalyst. Educationalinstitutions ofsecondaryspecialandprofessional educationareacademiclyceumsandprofessionalcolleges, providingthenecessaryorganizationaleducational,logisticaland psychological-pedagogicalconditionsfortherealizationofthe goalsandobjectivesofthistypeofeducation.
CONCEPTOFHIGHEREDUCATION Theterm"Highereducation"isunderstoodaspreparation ofexpertsofthetopskillsforbranchesofeconomy,a science,technicsandculture,and.亟,possessingthe systematisedknowledgeandpracticalskillswhichallow tosolve theoreticalandpracticalproblemsona preparationprofile,usingandcreativelydeveloping modernachievementsofascience,technicsandculture.
Thehighereducationsystemconsistsfrom: Thehighereducationalinstitutionsrealisingeducational andprofessionalprogramsaccordingtothestate educationalstandardsirrespectiveofpatternsof ownershipanddepartmentalsubordination; Thescientificandpedagogicalestablishments performingresearchworks,necessaryforhigher educationdevelopment; Statebodiesformation,andalsotheenterprises subordinatedtothem,establishmentsandthe organisations.
Thehighereducationhastwosteps:abachelordegreeand amagistracy. Bachelordegreethebasehighereducationgiving fundamentalandappliedknowledgeinadirectionof preparationwithdurationoftrainingnotlessoffouryears. Themagistracy highereducationwithfundamental andappliedknowledgeonaconcretespeciality(a preparationdirection)withdurationoftrainingnotless thantwo years,accesstowhichiscarriedoutona competitivebasisonly onthebasisofabachelordegree.
Afterendofmagisteryprogramstograduatesfollowing theresultsofthestatecertificationdegree"master"ona concretespeciality(apreparationdirection)isawarded andthediplomaofthestatesamplestandsout. Diplomasofthestatesampleofthebachelorandthe mastergranttherighttotheirownerstobeengagedin professionalworkaccordingto adirectionofpreparation (speciality)ortocontinuetrainingineducational institutionsfurther.
Thehighereducationalinstitutionsarelegalbodies.In republicfollowingtypesofthehighereducational institutionsareestablished: Theuniversityrealiseseducationalprogramsofthe higherand formationsonawidespectrumoffieldsof knowledgeandpreparationdirections; Theacademyrealiseseducationalprogramsofthe higherand formationsonaconcretefieldofknowledge andpreparationdirections; Theinstituterealiseseducationalprogramsofthe higherand,asarule, formationsinconcretedirectionsof preparationwithinonefieldofknowledge.
Postgraduateeducationisaimedatmeetingtheneedsof societyinscientificandpedagogicalpersonnel.Postgradu educationcanbeobtainedinhighereducationand researchinstitutions.
