This document provides instructions for microscopic examination of feces to identify common parasites. It lists the eggs or cysts of six parasites that can be seen under a microscope: Fasciola, Paramphistomum, Schistosoma, Balantidium coli, hookworm, and stomach worm. Identification of these parasites in feces can help diagnose infections.
