The American College Testing organization developed three assessments - EXPLORE for 8th grade students with a maximum score of 25, PLAN for 10th grade with a maximum of 32, and ACT for 11th grade with a maximum of 36. The document shows average scores on each assessment by subject and overall composite. Two charts compare predictability of scores from EXPLORE to PLAN and PLAN to ACT for a 2014-2015 senior class, with most students scoring in the expected range between assessments.

Explore is given to over half a million middle school studnets to help guide high school course selection and offers an interest inventory. It offers an interest inventory has a some predictability for future performance on the PLAN. The top score is 25 on the EXPLORE.
The PLAN test is given in 10th grade and is used to measure how well prepared students are for college and offers and interest inventory. The PLAN also has some predicabilty with the ACT.
