This document discusses manipulating elevator recordings to alter the sound. The original recording shows interference from elevator vibrations. Using audio effects plugins, the author tested ReaFir to filter out interference and make the original track clearer. ReaDelay was also used to amplify the interference and make it more obvious by increasing the volume and applying a high-pass filter.
2. For the second elevator clip I used VST: ReaFir. This clip is
very different compared the previous used of this FX. You
can hear the original track more clearly and there is less
interference.
The line starts really high then suddenly dips straight to
the bottom of the graph and then returns upwards at just
before 1.0k. The line returns to its highest point and stays
the same throughout the clip. It sounds as if when
recording there was a lot of vibrations.
3. For the third clip I have used VST:ReaDelay to manipulate
it. It has not changed the sound track dramatically, just
made it louder and made the interference more obvious.
I have set the wet and dry to +12.0. The length is at 0
The interference is due to the elevator seconds and the hipass filter is at 20000Hz. The high
making vibrations. hipass must make the sound clip louder.
