Emily Bront谷 was an English novelist and poet born in 1818 in Yorkshire, England. She is best known for her only novel Wuthering Heights, now considered a classic of English literature. Bront谷 died young at age 30 of tuberculosis after catching a cold at her brother's funeral. As she declined in health, she refused medical help. On her deathbed, she finally asked for a doctor but it was too late, and she passed away later that day at Haworth Parsonage, leaving behind her legendary novel as her only written work.
