I found a few very helpful tips on improving my CV such as having a structure on the different areas
to be covered by the use of sub headings.

I also found this session really useful in applying for jobs as it has a vast amount of helpful resources.
Wednesday 16th
11- 12 How to get into online marketing, SEO, Content, Online PR (Leslie Sliver Building, LSBG28)
This session helped me as I was unsure on wheather I would enjoy a job in marketing and through
information from this session it showed me that this wasnt something that would interest me in
online marketing.
3-4 demonstrate your x factor (Bronte Hall room G05)
This session helped me to see my unique selling point and how I could put them across in interviews.
Thursday 17th
11.30- 12.30 A day in the life of a marketing agency (The Rose Bowl RB444 LT C)
This session helped me as I knew I didnt want to get involved in online marketing as it didnt appeal
to me but a day in the life of a marketing agency also highlighted the fact that this wasnt a career
choice that I would like to do.
Wednesday 23rd
10-11 Succeed a interviews (Cavendish Hall Room 118)
I found the different types of interviews that jobs could put me through and how to prepare for
them. This key thing I learned was that not only do I need to know my strengths but I need to know
my weaknesses and show how I am working on them.
