Kine, Maja, Areli, and Trine are pursuing various fields of study. Jonas is finishing secondary school and working part-time. Aud Karin and Ragnar took a trip visiting 3 capital cities in 3 countries in 1 day. They are moving to a new home and spent time with family over the summer, including a family reunion at their summer house. Aud Karin and Ragnar wish everyone a Happy New Year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Aud Karin and Ragnar
Kine - the oldest of Aud Karin - works part-time at SignoConrad Svendsen Center, studying at the University College of Oslo and Akershus to become teacher in Art and Crafts, elected member of the Student Parlament and found herself a MOAI.
Maja, Aud Karin's second oldest, is studying Business Administration / Management at California Lutheran University
Areli, Ragnar's oldest, got her DRIVERS LICENSE, and changed her studies to Sports and Movement, still at the NTNU. Excercising, biking back and forth and works at a Gym, has moved to Steinan and begun powerlifting - she knows must carry her father around in a few years time ....and have learned from him to take upside-down pictures of beautiful ladies!
Trine, Ragnar's youngest, studying Law at UiO, lives with Kaja and Anna in Uranienborg, working at the full-time care at school there - and went to NYC in october. Trine also attended the first of 7 weeks of SIGN LANGUAGE COURSE FOR ADULT RELATIVES TO DEAF at ?L.
Jonas, Aud Karin?s youngest - doing last year at Ringstabekk Secondary School and acting in the the school cabaret, had his confirmation in september, did cook a CHICKEN in COCA COLA, and has got his first job: KIWI Kj?rbo!
Aud Karin began the year swimming in the sea the 2. of january at our ¡°SUMMER HOUSE¡±. Still working at Sk?dalen, learning English at the adult education center at Skullerud, has received some roses in 2011 as well, hurted her arm when she fell on ice in March and we have seen a some weddings!
Aud Karin found a NICE Fiat 500, and has started practice driving, hill starting and everything, did wash BlueTUTh, we had a visit from Aud Karin's sister, Marianne, Frank and Oda, and we also found a beautiful black car!
Aud Karin and Ragnar got VIDEO mobiles, label iPad - useful and very fun!
Ragnar began the year swimming in the sea the 2. of january at our ¡°SUMMER HOUSE¡±, thrives at his ambulant work, and goes the 15kms to/from work 1-2 times a week, - AND HE HAS TRIED ROCK CLIMBING ¨C getting appr 1 meter up before freezing due to his vertigo... and have had many pleasant gatherings with Herman whos is working in Oslo and living in Trondheim
Ragnar went on Continuing Education in Trauma Terapy at Ullev?l, and Continuing Education in Motivational Interviewing at the University College at Levanger, 6 ganterings, tarvelling up and down, and also attended his 3d. of 7 weeks og SIGN LANGUAGE COURSE FOR FAMILY OF ADULT DEAFS at ?L, together with Trine, and eating KOGEL MOGEL at his Moms on May 17th., one of the 12 times he was in Trondheim, and celbrated his cousin Unni?s 50.5-years!
Ragnar still poduces crossword puzzles to street magazine Sorgenfri + H?GSKOLEAVISA, and partispated in this year's CRAB-HUNTING-AND-EATING- WEEKEND in Simavik in ?fjorden!
The beautiful city of Bratislava - where we stayed at a riverboat hotel on the Danube!

3 meals in 3 capital cities in 3 countries on 1day: Lunch in Vienna sausages f?course! Guys whipping around and many guys in folk costumes! Gunda was travelling with us!
.... 3 meals in 3 capitals in 3 countries on 1 day - dinner in Budapest, the beautiful town where we lived in a design hotel on the Danube.
We enjoy the bath Sz¨¦chenyi Gy¨®f¨¹rd? in Budapest with 0 ¡ã in the air!
Emptying the house in Trondheim, Trondheim-Lysaker x4 in 5 weeks, up and down ¨C when you meet eye-to-eye with the tumble dryer AND the washing maschine in the rear mirror ¨C we spell M-O-V-I-N-G!
We have bought a new flat, under construction and to be completed in June - Arneberg GARDEN ¨C moving 900 meters, and have put up Michelets Vei 15a for sale!
We went to Kristiansand in May, confirmation of Berit's twins Marie and Trine, and for Elias' baptism! 3-of-a-kind!
The nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces in Chile: Lalo did a show for children in a Santiago Wanderers event, and been interviewed on TV as eyewitness to a lynching mob, Christian is CANU, Tamara and Rocio and Bastian and Sofia are all growing fast!
When the bomb hit Oslo on the 22d of July, we checked that all the nearest was ok ¨C and our 5 children were all in in Oslo, and several of the nieces and nephews ¨C but all of them well - and took off to the summer house with Trine, Jonas, Hanne and three bikes behind, crab hunting, fishing, boating and family reunion. We repesented all 4 sibling families at the summer house for a while and Jonas collected crabs to Andrea in his short pockets!

Juan married this summer and we had a great bachelor party with rock climbing and found THE FANTASTIC, UNEXPECTED GUITAR MAN on the tram improvising for Juan - and got the whole wagon to back him up!
This year's Uncle-football-match was RBK-Start 19 Sept: 4-1! A tradition thruogh many years, Uncle Ragnar invites all his nephews and nieces on his side, with everyones children and girl/boyfriends - we have been from 10-15 persons

The Cultural Year of 2011 included Ragnar and Jan at THE WALL in Telenor Arena, some football matches; Aud Karin, Astrid and Ragnar at wine course during the DEAF CULTURAL DAYS and much more ... and we still do have that nice Sign-Language-TV-channel
Ragnar and Aud Karin has also been the 3 times at Theatre Manu, the Sign Language Theatre, we saw MUNCH-ice sculptures during the Ski World Cup, and Ragnar and Kine have been many times the Astrup Fearnley Museum, including the Warhol exhibition ...
Our dear friend Ala celebrated her 50years in Gdansk with Norwegians, Poles, Swedes and Germans, friends and family, Hearing and Deaf

Ragnar's birthday 4. dec visits including Trine, Kine, Astrid, Jan, Gro, Dina, Linda, and Betu.
Christmas visit to Magne&Co in Skien, together with Arvid, Berit and Elias. Magne fixing Mac, and Elias Ipad-skyping cousin ?Kasper
We have prepared and eaten much sushi, and of course we ate delicious BRYNDZOV? HALUSKY in Slovakia, we have made Ceviche, Latin America uncooked, unfried - but acid- prepared fish, Ragnar made lutefisk for first time to Juan, Claudio and Jan! Aud Karin eating NORDFJORD- KEBAB - lefse with lutefisk & potatoes...
