 My Work Tasks:
 Identify improvements, develop, review and Implement with discipline supervisor action plans to
achieve maintenance targets and KPI’s.
 Perform technical and economic analyses through detailed analysis of historical reliability data and the
identification of equipment vulnerabilities to justify improvements and recommend priorities.
 Liaising with discipline supervisor, communicate with other departments (operations, Maintenance
team, Engineering, etc …) to ensure plant vulnerability and reliability issues are addressed, investigated,
and effective action plans in place.
 Instrument drawings, data sheets, I/O wiring diagrams, P&IDs, specifications, charts and graphs.
 Do A3 proposal report for the critical issues which need to be focus with action plan and follow.
 Use Management of Change System (MOC) and Notice Of Defects (NOD) in all discipline activities
improvements and modifications.
 Utilize company document management system (Aconex) in managing company controlled documents
to ensure valid and credible information.
 Lead / Participate in plant Root Cause Failure Analysis.
 Participate in plant pre-commission and commissioning activities.
 Doing PM and Asset Activities maintenance plan through EAM oracle system to increase the life time
for different instruments and any issue to be detected.
 Work with area maintenance supervisors to improve instruments reliability through maintenance work.
 Direct communication with vendors to follow spare parts issues, get technical recommendations for
instruments issues and get quotations for recommended spare parts (Krohne, Endress Hauser,
Honeywell, Flowserve, Pentair, Wika, Atlas Copco).
 Review instruments Spare parts and update the min/max according to our needs and cost optimization.
 Catalog the new spare parts through MDRM program and relate the new oracle code to BOM.
 Ensure spares are correctly described, ordered, received, stored, and preserved in accordance to
manufacturing recommendation to be fit for use upon need.
 Managing of spare parts purchasing routine including technical evaluation, cost estimation and
coordination with procurement to review the vendor`s quotations.
 Provide and develops the instrumentations scope of work and supervised the installation and testing
during commissioning.

 Prepare and periodically review / update maintenance procedures – in conjunction with supervisor - and
strictly adherence to these procedures to ensure safe and effective maintenance activities.

turnarounds maintenance activity plans to meet company targets and KPI’s.
 Troubleshoot, Locate equipment faults and operating irregularities by making the necessary diagnostic
tests, measurements and analyses then plan toward remedy.
 Develop/ review Standard work instruction (SWI) for all discipline equipment according to Instruments
Original Manufacture (IOM) recommendation and maintenance best practices.

Alkyl Benzene (LAB) Complex (Petrochemicals Plant in Egypt).
 Perform/ supervise all maintenance activities and overhaul for all plant Instrument equipment during
normal operation and Turnaround / Shutdowns according to company policies and procedures to
improve the reliability of plant assets and equipment’s to meet maintenance targets and KPI’s.
 Installation, testing, trouble shooting, calibration and Maintenance for different instruments in the field.
 Supervising all instrumentation activities on site such as loop check, Start Up, Commission& Shutdown.
 Interlock of Heaters, Reciprocator Compressors and Pumps.
 Monitoring for the plant through DCS and PLC (Foxboro, Honeywell and UOP)
 Prosecution Foxboro System (input, output modules, Barriers and control processor).
 Trends, Overwrite, Alarms, Soft maintenance.
