- 9. WHERE IT BEGAN Matthew David Ellis joined forces with Pertemps Recruitment Partnership in Edgbaston, Birmingham in 1999. The two newly formed partners established Executive Network Group but were both very different. One a national recruitment business established in 1961 with over 100 branches being one of the largest Recruitment organisations in the UK, the other an entrepreneurial young individual with a talent for specialist recruitment. Both, however, shared common passions; A passion for understanding individuals, a passion for world class service, a passion for excellence and a passion to be the best. The best in class.

MARKET LEADING BRANDS Executive Network Group, inspired by its passion to be the best in class soon developed its reputation in the UK Specialist Marketplace and partnered with new & existing brands sharing this passion. First came RED in 2002, a brand famed in the Midlands for its superiority in the Rec-to-Rec and Sales Sectors. This was closely followed in 2004 by The HSE Recruitment Network the market leader in the UK Health & Safety market. Soon after this, a gap was identified in the Facilities Management industry for a recruitment business with our passion & values and The FM Network was born in 2010. Network HR, the No.1 resource for HR talent joined the group in 2012 and Network Group International was formed in 2013 to take our existing expertise overseas.
