HRM involves attracting, selecting, training, assessing, and rewarding employees. It includes developing an employer brand to attract talent, competency-based interviews and assessments for selection, balanced scorecard approaches for performance management and appraisals, and financial and non-financial rewards. Talent management involves attracting, selecting, engaging, and retaining employees from their entry to exit. Performance management uses a balanced scorecard across financial, customer service, processes, and learning/growth perspectives. Learning and development provides competency assessments, frameworks, curriculum development, knowledge management, on-the-job training, e-learning, and self-development.
