Fundata is the highest village in Romania, located in Brasov county in the Transylvania region. Situated at an altitude of 1360 meters, Fundata has been designated a tourist village since 1973 due to its natural attractions like the Piatra Craiului National Park, Zarnesti Gorge, and Vidraru Lake. Surrounded by the Bucegi and Piatra Craiului mountains, Fundata offers visitors numerous nearby hiking opportunities and scenic views.
