INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: MAINTAINS PRODUCTION AND QUALITY BY ENSURING OPERATION OF MACHINERY AND MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT. Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Job Duties: ¡ñ Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions. ¡ñ Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. ¡ñ Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts. ¡ñ Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments. ¡ñ Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. ¡ñ Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. ¡ñ Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

I graduated in December 1998.I am currently studying Tecnology industrial machinery mechanic at SENA. I am in Second quarter, My schedule is on Mondays: Organize Maintenance Activities, I study from 6:00 o¡¯clock pm through 10:00 o¡¯clock pm. , On Tuesdays: I study English, I study from 6:00 o¡¯clock p.m through 8:00 o¡¯clock pm. , On Wednesdays: Establish Maintenance Tactics class, I study from 6:00 o¡¯clock pm through 10:00 o¡¯clock pm. , on Thursdays; Control Maintenance Activities, I study from 6:00 o`clock pm through 10:00 o¡¯clock pm. , on Fridays; is my day off. My favorite class is, Organize Maintenance Activities In the near future I plan to work for and important company such ecopetrol I would like to work as mechanical engineer I don¡¯t mind working shifts. I can stand heavy and challenging positions. I consider myself creative, friendly, easy going, open to challenging jobs and ready to work in difficult areas, I am very organized and I like to work under high pressure environments, I can work in any field related to industrial maintenance. I want to get specialized in electrical/mechanized/ computirized/automatized engines.
