Erlend Loe worked in psychiatry and as a journalist before becoming an author. He lives in Oslo and co-founded a screenwriting community. Loe's debut novel in 1993, Gone with the Woman, brought him worldwide popularity, and his second novel Naive.Super has been translated into over 20 languages. Most of Loe's novels use first-person narration and interior monologue to present the perspective of a 30-year-old man with an addiction trying to solve a life problem.
