The document describes a business project called EuroDetective that aims to help connect people who have lost items with those who have found them across Europe. An initial survey found that 20% of Europeans lose personal belongings each month. The project would establish a phone and online system to collect descriptions of lost and found items in multiple languages, translate them, and match descriptions to connect the individuals. The founders have registered patents for the idea in several countries. They provide details on marketing, operations, costs, and financing plans to launch the system across Europe and generate revenue from fees paid by those reporting lost items.

1. PROJECT EURODETECTIVE
PEOPLE ALL OVER THE
WORLD
HAVE LOST, ARE LOOSING AND WILL
LOSE THEIR BELONGINGS
ALWAYS!
3. AT THE END OF MAY 2012 THE PROJECT TEAM HAS CONDUCTED A SURVERY IN
DIFERENT SOCIAL NETWORKS AND ESTABLISHED IN APRIL 2012 THAT 2 137
OUT OF 10 000 SURVERY PARTICIPANTS LOST SOME OF THEIR BELONGINGS. THE
RESEARCH HAS SHOWN THAT 20% OF EUROPEAN RESIDENTS LOSE SOMETHING
OF THEIR BELONGING MONTHLY!
4. IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE, BUT
Turns out that 20% of European population, which is about
100 mln people lose monthly their things and as a result of
such loss they have to deal with inccuring problems and bear
costs. Most often people lose keys and access cards.
What can be done to solve this!? Where this army of inattentive
and forgetful people can get help? Who can connect them with
someone who found their lost items?! In this case, those who
are in search for their lost belongings can get a great help from
EuroDetective
5. BUSINESS IDEA
EUROUNION DETECTIVE
The business Project is based on receiving phone messages
about lost or found items and establishing a contact
between person who lost and a person who found, even in
those cases where these people speak different languages.
The person, who has lost something, calls on a paid phone
number and in his/her own language leaves a message
about a lost item. The person, who has found something,
calls on a free phone number and in his/her own language
leaves a message about a found item. The center processes
and translates all the received messages, defines and
matches the descriptions of the lost and found items and
notifies the person, who has lost something, if the matching
item is available.
6. THE PROJECT IDEA HAS BEEN REGISTERED IN THE PATENT OFFICE IN GERMANY,
ENGLAND, ESTONIA IN SUMMER 2012.
ON THE BASIS OF THE MADE PATENT APPLICATIONS WITHIN 12 MONTHS IT IS
POSSIBLE TO APPLY FOR IP (INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY) PROTECTION IN OTHER
COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD.
7. IMPLEMENTATION OF THE BUSINESS IDEA
The business idea is based on the patented method of multilingual
search of lost and found items and presented in several telephone and
Internet formats . The result of the project implementation is the
establishment of the contact between the PERSON WHO LOST and the
PERSON WHO FOUND, even if they are speaking different languages .
The entire database with the lost and found items information is closed
from the general access.
The person who has lost something calls the paid phone number
(registration fee is 2 euro ) and describes the lost item.
The person who has found something calls the free phone number and
describes the found item.
The centre receives and translates all the messages into one language,
searches and matches them. If matches are found then the person who
lost something receives from the centre the contact details of the
person who found an item matching a description of the lost one.
At that stage the assistance of the centre ends and then the person
who lost something and the person who found it can continue their
communication independently and act as they wish in accordance with
the jurisdiction of their country.
14. FINANCIAL ATTRACTIVENESS OF THE BUSINESS IDEA
The research shows that amount of monthy lost items come to an average of
20% of the general large city population in the economically developed
European country.
SCEPTICALLY if we will not believe this number and call it
overestimated, deminish it by 1 % of the general megapolis
population of any European country then
European Union
In EU, lives 500 mln people, then according to the 1 % rate of lost
belongings there is 5 mln. different people who come across with this
problem on monthly basis, during the year in the same region the neccessilty to
seach for lost items in order to return them on average occurs about 60 mln
times.
The registration fee for the person who has lost own belongings is calculated
according the budget of the average EU citizen and will be from 1 to 3 euro.
5 mln. registrations 丱 2 euro = 10 mln. euro M O N T H L Y
60 mln. registrations 丱 2 euro = 240 mln. euro E A R L Y
16. EXPENSES FOR THE START UP OF THE BUSINESS IDEA IN EU
(AVERAGE PRICES JCDECAUX )
THE WHOLESALE MANUFACTURING, INSTALLATION AND DISPLAY EXPOSURE
COSTS FOR 1 000 BILLBOARDS 3丱6 IN LARGE EU CITIES IS
480 000 EURO FOR THE FIRST STARTING MONTH. THEN THE PROJECT PAYS
BACK. TECHICAL CENTRE COSTS 20 000 EURO.
17. RISK ANALYSIS OF THE BUSINESS IDEA
During the risk analysis in order to demonstrate the zero-risk nature and sustainability of
the project, lets consider the most pessimistic facts - namely, lets set the fee for
servicing each person who lost something to 束 1 euro, which is small
enough for a possibility to get back the lost item β set
the regstration fee for the person who lost something - 1 EURO , which should
increase the amount of referrals eventhough it is against the logic.
we, on purpose, deminish the survey rate of montly lost items in EU
from 20% to just 0,5 % then
MONTHLY there is 2,5 mln. people get registered in the center,
and
YEARLY 30 mln. lost items
Thus
2,5 mln. registrations 丱 1 euro = 5 mln. euro - MONTHLY paid for
registrations of lost items in the center, provided that monthly marketing costs are 400
000 euro
60 mln. registrations 丱 1 euro = 60 mln. euro - EARLY paid for
registrations of lost items in the center
18. BUSINESS IDEA IS A NEW EFFECTIVE MECHANISM FOR SHARING AND EXCHANGING
MULTILINGUAL INFORMATION FOR RETURN OF LOSS BELONGINGS. IT IS A UNIQUE,
PROFITABLE AND LONG-TERM BUSINESS !
PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD ALWAYS LOST, ARE ALWAYS LOSING AND WILL ALWAYS
LOSE, THEIR THINGS AND THEY WILL ALWAYS TRY TO FIND AND GET BACK THEIR LOST
THINGS!
19. PATENT MONOPOLY OF THE BUSINESS IDEA
The project idea has been registered in the Patent Office in Germany,
England, Estonia in summer 2012.
On the basis of the made patent applications within 12 months it is
possible to apply for IP (Intellectual Property) protection in other
countries of the world.
The ideas exclusive competitive advantage is fixed by the invention -
the centralized multilingual search method. Besides, the product is
service, which is new not only for regional business but also for the
entire global market. The author of the business idea becomes a
pioneer for new kind of consumer based services, which has been
longtime demanded by the potential consumers. Being a inventor, the
estonian company EuroDetective O implements this business
idea and will create a new market place where it will hold innovation
monopoly by holding patents on newly invented methods for multilingual
searches.
We are open for mutually beneficial cooperation and partnership within
the framework of this business Project!
