A.Written assesment in language skill Lenny the Flying Inventor By Jeff Smith Lenny is a contraption inventor that his house look like a mess. Someday he want to fly so he calling his friend rudy. He said to him that he will make a wings and will fly high. Rudy didn’t believe at his friend. He said it was too dangerous but lenny want give it a try. lenny spend a week for making a wings. The day he called rudy for help because his wings was done. Rudy asking about the wings. Lenny said it makes from scrap and metal. So they give it a try and it won’t works beacause the things was too heavy and lenny fall and realise that metal is too heavy for the fly so he remake it again. Now the second try he made it from wood. Rudy help him again but when lenny about to fly suddenly it was broke and he fall from his head. He was never know how to give up he try again. This time he remake the wings with wax and balsa woods. When it done lenny really fly so high. He was screaming and then he realise something he flew too high and how he land?. Suddenly the wings are melt because it burn by sun . lenny think that he will fall n will hurt again. Yes he fall at the thre. His friend rudy was asking to him if he was okay. Lenny said he was fine and he never make it again because his body can’t take it. Lenny also made a commitment that he don’t want to invent anymore. He often tells people, "If people were meant to fly, they would have wings!".
