Question 4

• Who would be the audience of your
  media product?
Evaluation Q4 and Q5 Presentation
• Before making my magazine I had to think about what my audience
would like, dislike and if it would fit in the conventions of a
magazine. So now after creating my front cover, contents page and
double page spread I thought I would ask people of the age range
of my target audience to get some feedback and so after making
sure I had was completely happy with the my magazine, I wanted to
make sure that what I had created would appeal to my target
audience if were to be printed and put into the 'real' world and so I
posted a small paragraph explaining what the magazine was and
how I wanted people to comment on the magazine to see if they
liked it. I then got some feedback saying how much they liked the
magazine and that they would buy if it were to be put in the media
however I did get a comment about how they thought the contents
page looked a little bare compared to the rest of the magazine but
in response to this I had tried filling the gap and it made the
magazine look over crowded, which messed with the professional
  layout of the magazine.
Question 5
• How did you attract/address your audience?

To research my target audience and to find out
what they really want in a media product I decided
to go onto survey monkey and create a little survey.
After looking at all the institutional research and
the different magazines I realized the style of text I
needed to include and use in my magazine for the
main article. As it is not just the layout I needed to
worry about, it was the actual content in the
magazine and then decide what to use to appeal to
my target audience by using mature language.
For my magazine the main target audience for
my magazine would be young woman however
from using the survey before actually creating
my magazine this shows that I have a wider
range of an audience and they would actually
be interested inn what I am going to create.
This shows a brief inside view of what people like to listen to
and it shows that at least from this list I would have 18.2% of
people who has completed this survey that they would at
least be a little bit interested in reading my magazine as the
genre for my magazine is R&B and from this list it shows that
I have niche in the magazine industry for this style of genre.
This part of my survey shows that I have a
market for people who listen to my genre also
would be interested in reading my magazine.
This shows that my target audience does read magazines
and my magazine that I have created gets distributed on
a monthly bases, which the majority of the people in
this survey actually read magazines once a month so
hopefully it will be my magazines that they read every
month.
