It had to be done quickly to allow the resigning director to hand over his activities. A successful search was conducted, with the new director being appointed after a number of interviews. Joannes Bosco was founded 1936 and is a purely social enterprise. It was initiated by a group of influential people from Brabant who wanted to improve the living conditions of boys growing up in difficult circumstances. The foundation organised courses and holiday camps at their two own locations, Huize Bergen Estate and De Spreeuwse Heide Nowadays these locations are no longer used as youth accommodations, but are operated commercially. All profits go to the Foundation and are used for projects supporting youth. For many years the two locations were managed very successfully by a general director. When he left, the Joannes Bosco Foundation had to look out for a new director. The director has final responsibility for both operations and the commercial results. Joannes Bosco was looking for a proactive and passionate person with many contacts, who can act as the foundation卒s ambassador in the province of Brabant.
