This document discusses two case studies on farms in Venezuela. The first case study is on a cattle and dairy farm called Finca Ganadera, which produced 163,000 kg of meat and 840 liters of milk across 1000 hectares. The real yield of the farm is calculated to be 417,890 Bolivars per hectare. The second case study examines a plantain farm called Finca Platanera spanning 500 hectares, with a current production of 2,500 kg per hectare per year compared to the ideal national production of 5,500 kg per hectare per year, resulting in a difference of 3 tons per hectare per year.
