- 2. APP OVERVIEW We know that fundraising can be challenging without accessible tools and resources at your fingertips. CMN Hospitals worked closely with DonorDrive over the last year to build what were proud to introduce as the first DonorDrive mobile app, for iOS and Android users. With a simple interface that mirrors the user experience DonorDrive users know and love, improved technology and increased capabilities such as QR code creation and a newsfeed with updates from your fundraising efforts, we believe users will raise more money for Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals and make an even bigger impact on childrens health. This guide walks through the new features available on the app, admin features, and how to communicate to your participants from feed notifications and push notifications. - 3. REGISTRAION Search "DonorDrive Charity Fundraising App" into the app store. Once downloaded onto a mobile device, anyone can register for your events by searching for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and associated events, or by going directly to registration through an organization-provided QR Code or Short Code. Once users select an event, they can then log in if they are already registered or they can register for the event. The registration process will include all of the same fields as the registration process on the DonorDrive web platform (custom questions, creating teams, making self donations, and more). Navigation links and content that usually appears at the top of the registration process on the DonorDrive web platform will be hidden to optimize the experience for mobile app users. - 4. FUNDRAISING With any questions, please reach out to helpdesk@cmnhospitals.org. Many of the same fundraising elements from the DonorDrive Fundraiser Portal are available on the app, such as Milestones, Incentives, Facebook Fundraisers, and Achievement Badges. From the app, fundraisers will have easy access to update their fundraising pages, update their fundraising goal, add milestones and incentives if enabled, easily thank their donors and track donations, and more. Participant and Team pages also have a QR code available in the app. Fundraisers can share the QR code with others. Once someone accesses a QR code (for example, by taking a photo of the QR code with the camera on their mobile device), they will be taken directly to the donation form for the personal or team fundraising page. Fundraisers can share their fundraising pages to social channels through the native sharing menu on their phones. Native sharing menu includes channels such as text message, Facebook, Twitter, and other frequently used apps on the users' device. Team Captains also have the same ability in the app as they do on the web platform to update and manage their team page.

The Feed is a great place for users to continuously engage with their fundraising progress and with your organization. Users can check in to get a quick overview of what's happened recently with their fundraising and read messages from the organization. The Feed includes automatic updates about personal and team fundraising progress, as well as messages from the organization. Feed items about fundraising progress such as when a user receives a donation, reaches a milestone, or has a new team member will appear automatically. DonorDrive admins can also configure Feed items to appear through Scheduled Messages. Feed items can be published as soon as possible or scheduled for an approximate day/time. DonorDrive admins can also send Push Notifications to app users' devices. Push Notifications can be sent as soon as possible or scheduled for an approximate day/time.
- 6. FAQS How do I get started with using the DonorDrive app? What devices can I download the app on? Can I be logged into multiple events at once? Can I add my stream to my fundraising page through the app? What software versions does the DonorDrive mobile app support? After you download the app, select CMN Hospitals -> Extra Life, from the program list. Then, you can either log in or register for the event. The DonorDrive app is available on iOS and Android devices. You can only be logged into one event at a time. If you'd like to access another event, whether that is for the same organization or a separate organization, you can log out of your current event and login to your additional event. A stream cannot be added to a fundraising page through the app. You'll need to login to your fundraising page on your browser to add the stream to your page. However, you can view a stream while viewing your page in the app. The minimum supported iOS version is 13.0. The minimum supported version of Android OS is 4.4 (API Level 19).
