- 1. BALI GLOBAL FOUNDATION (Yayasan Bali Global) Suly Resort Yoga & Spa supports the activities of the Yayasan Bali Global charitable foundation. This provides free education for underprivileged children who would otherwise never attend school. In addition to attending the attached Hotel School, the students are also provided hospitality training at the resort. This is part of their curriculum and raises the level of education provided to a high level. Bali Global Foundation (Yayasan Bali Global) was established in 2001 at Peliatan, Ubud, with the vision helping underprivileged young people find better jobs in the future and the mission of helping people develop their full potential and learn skills via a Hotel Tourism School. Its projects are the Panti Asuhan Bali Global (Bali Global Orphanage) and the SMK Parawisata Bali Global Ashram Senior High School, both located on the grounds of the Suly Resort Yoga and Spa in Peliatan, Ubud. The senior high school was opened in May 2007 and classes began with 63 students in July 2007. All of the students come from underprivileged families from Bali and other parts of Indonesia. The purpose of the high school is to give these students the opportunity to finish senior high school and to learn skills in the tourism industry. The students follow the standard senior high school curriculum with additional Food and Beverage, and Front Office Management classes. The students live on the grounds in dormitories and are able to practice with the guests of the Suly Resort Yoga and Spa. There are currently 93 both girls and boys student. Bali Global Foundation was voted one of the Top 10 Volunteerism Getaways by Asia Spa Magazine March/April Edition 2012 and Top Hospitality High School in Bali. BALI GLOBAL FOUNDATION (Yayasan Bali Global). Until now (2015) Bali Global Foundation has graduated more than 350 students in which they are already working in five star hotels in Bali,cruise ships and hotels abroad.
