4. Connecting
In 1997, the well know Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Larry Crabb, Ph.D. wrote a book called
Connecting. His basic premise is this:

wounds as physiological disorders and relegated their
treatment to specialist. In reality, every caring person has
the ability already within them to help.

5. The History of Psychotherapy
In 1895, Sigmund Freud stumbled on the
idea of a talking cure.
The idea of talking caught on and soon a
talking profession (Psychotherapy) was
born.
Over the course of time, dozens of
psychotherapeutic models emerged, all
revealing beneficial results.
