Laura Emmerson has extensive experience in anthropology, natural resources, conservation research, and environmental education. She received her BA in Anthropology from Humboldt State University with a minor in Natural Resources. Her research interests include human-environment interactions, conservation through natural resources management, ethnoprimatology, and natural history museum education. She has held leadership and teaching positions with several organizations focused on conservation, education, and research.
