Faveton S.A.H. System

S.A.H. is a system designed for the installation of
FAVETON CERAM terracotta tiles. It can be applied on
vertical walls, inclined surfaces or soffits.

The carrier rail system consists of a main vertical
aluminum T profile, whose axis coincides with the joint of
two consecutive tiles. This profile has 4 channels. The
two running outside are used to retain stainless steel clips
supporting the tiles. The support clips below are fixed and
retaining clips are floating to allow the removal of tiles for
maintenance or replacement. The two inner channels
house a vertical EPDM gasket which stabilizes the
system against possible vibrations and prevents entry of
water beyond the vertical joint. This feature coupled with
tongue and groove shape of the tiles make the system
virtually watertight. The system is supported by aluminium
helping hand brackets of two types: supporting (fixed
points, which support the weight of the system) and
retaining (moving point, which counteracts the force of the
wind).

The system is adjustable in three dimensions. The
standard adjustment is between 110 and 165 mm, 225
mm brackets (measured from the backing wall to outside
face of the tiles) and can be extended by utilising larger
brackets.

The system is fully tested to CWCT standards for wind
resistance, water-tightness and impact resistance.
