Events
* AR Goals- This week we should be at 15% of
our new AR goals to be on track. Students who
made 100% of their goal last marking period will
receive their January Book-It.
* Battle of the Books- We will be having our
annual Battle of the Books in March. Students
have been divided into 3 teams, have decided on
a team name, and have divided up the list of 24
books. We will have a Battle where the 4th-6th
grades will try to correctly answer questions
about the 24 books. It is a fun event at the end of
Reading Month! All books can be used towards
our AR reading goals as well.
* MAP Testing- Our Winter MAP testing cycle is
complete, and I am looking at the data to see
what each student still needs to work on to be
most successful this year. A lot of students have
already made their yearly goals by mid-year!
* Report Cards- Our 2nd marking period report
cards will be sent home this week. Please take a
look at the standards and let me know if you have
any questions.
* Book Orders Due on Feb. 11.

4th graders. I am excited to see how students
explore their natural curiosities. Projects must be
