Adam, an editor at Little White Lies, provided feedback on two design ideas that were pitched to him in an email. He liked both designs, with the first having a quirky Power Ranger/Daft Punk feel that stood out and used text and whitespace well. The second had a retro 70s movie poster look. Based on the positive feedback, the designer chose to further develop the first more interesting and complex design idea.

1. Email Feedback Analysis
I sent an email to Adam, an editor at Little White Lies, pitching the two ideas below. He responded with some
feedback.
Both really good. The second has that cool 70兵s retro movie-poster look, stands out, good contrast makes
the kid look like a bad-ass. The 鍖rst is the most interesting stands out (especially in a news stand) has a
quirky Power Ranger/Daft Punk type feel, use the text very well. Great use of the white space and colouring.
From this feedback, I know that i兵m on the right track with my designs. He liked both of them, which gave me
the freedom to choose either one of them and to develop it further. I decided that I would go for the 鍖rst idea
as I felt that it was more interesting and complex, meaning I could develop on it a lot more. I wokred on the
design, and have come up with this design. I will be developing it further however.
