Las características químicas y microestructurales se determinaron por DRX y MEB-EDS, respectivamente, se usó un analizador de imágenes para determinar el espesor y porosidad del recubrimiento; las propiedades tribológicas se evaluaron mediante un ensayo de desgaste deslizante en seco en configuración Bola sobre disco bajo una carga de 15 N, a una velocidad de deslizamiento de 350 rpm, un radio de 6 mm y un recorrido de 1200 m, el recubrimiento se ensayó frente a una contraparte estática de Zafiro, su caracterización se realizó por MEB-EDS y pérdida de masa. Se encontró que el recubrimiento lo componen principalmente: Cr3Ni2, FeNi3, WC y Cr23C6, teniendo como elemento principal el Ni; la porosidad y el espesor del recubrimiento en sección transversal estuvo alrededor de 2,4% y 536 μm, respectivamente, se observó mayor porosidad en la superficie del recubrimiento respecto a la sección transversal; la evaluación de sus propiedades tribológicas mostró que el coeficiente de fricción promedio se encontró alrededor de 0.6714, mientras que el volumen y la tasa de desgaste fueron 1,0718 mm3 y 5,95.10-5 mm3/Nm, respectivamente. A4CaseStudySamantha White, PhDSamantha interned with Ayrshire Chamber to help improve STEM education. She met with teachers to understand their needs. She then developed and delivered talks and workshops on topics like her PhD in stem cells for stroke recovery. Over 3 months she reached 1311 pupils. Teachers found her presentations engaging and helpful for reinforcing class concepts. The pupils enjoyed learning about science and found her career story inspiring. She also designed an experimental design workshop for advanced students, which teachers and pupils both found highly relevant and informative for their project work. The experience improved Samantha's communication and presentation skills.

The presenter was professional and Alissa fully engaged the students in the whole event. John Paul College Patrick Curran The presenter was brilliant, she was able to grasp the attention of the students. She had been very successful in guiding students to understand cyber safety and the danger of drink spiking. Her voice projection was very effective. Students thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and found the style of presentation different from ordinary classroom learning. She also responded very quickly to the emails as required. Le Fevre High School Yanny Kwok No real suggestions for improvement. It is very well set up and presented. The case has an excellent underlying message on safety, which the students pick up on. Presenter (Alissa) was first rate with excellent use of voice and the ability to maintain students focus. Mercedes College Nicholas Head Alissa was brilliant. She was firm with the students, and the students remained engaged the entire time. Alissa was also able to adapt the show to fit into our time requirements, which was also excellent.
