The document summarizes the results of an online expert survey conducted between November 2007 and January 2008 by the Department of Organizational Design and Behavior at the University of Stuttgart on how new media can support change management projects. Over 300 respondents from various industries and with experience in different types of change initiatives provided input. The survey looked at the application and benefits of both traditional tools and newer Web 1.0 and Web 2.0 tools. Key findings included the level of use of different tools, perceived benefits like increased employee participation and motivation, and the expected future relevance of Web 2.0 tools for change management.
