Fernando chose industrial design as his career because it allows him to solve a wide range of problems through research, ideas, prototypes, sketches, and other processes. His knowledge has deepened significantly since starting his career. He chose his university because its programs focus on design while also incorporating business and real projects with important firms. Fernando believes the skills and experience gained from real design projects through his university, along with having designer-professors who teach from experience, have prepared him well for finding jobs through a strong portfolio showcasing his abilities.

Questions-Answers 1. What is your Career? Industrial Design 2. Why did you choose your Career? Because the wide range to solve problems in projects: research, ideas, prototypes, sketches, etc., all the stuff is amazing for me. In the beginning I thought when first elected career, in graphic design, industrial design finally chosen because I discovered that a product requires a lot of graphics interfaces. 3. How different is your scenario now ? I so different about the knowledge, in the begining I sew few things. Basic things, and now there are a lot of things. But the focus is the same, in deep. 4. Why did you choose our university? Because all careers are focus in design, with a plus, all programs are in touch with business and real projects with some important firms.
Answers 5. Do you feel with good skills to look for jobs ? 6. Do you think, first study a career then look for a job, works for you? 7. What king of skills are better for our university? Yes, about industrial design I know the same knowledge like other university, but here I get one powerfull skill: practice, learning industrial design by doing projects. Subjects like business, usability, human center design are the best skills. Also is the kind of professors, all of them have a lot of experience in the field. Real designer-proffesor teach form success or from mistakes. In technical subjects like software or workshops maybe apply, but in human subjects you need to live real problems and learn by the way. In industrial design I need a powerfull portfolio, if is made with real projects, is the best way. Digital media increase, on-line enviroment increase like a new powerful platform. Maybe part phisycal on campus, maybe part on-line. Better communication and relationship with companies. Working more close with companies.
Luis (20) is a student with a lot of interest in learning and very disciplined. He wants many skills to solve problems. He will obtein good job with the best portfolio: showing the best skills and showing some experience . Learning from professional designers and professional researchers. He feel with powerful knowledge. Our online tools are almost useless. Services would improve communication between teachers and students. Better services like: content, reviews, lectures, presentations, training . About quiality of deliveries.
