This two-part course helps people learn to decipher food labels, understand designations like whole grain and organic, shop for groceries on a budget, and prepare foods in healthy ways. It consists of a 1 hour lecture and discussion on February 7th and 21st from 10:30-11:30am, followed by an optional 1.5 hour Grocery Scavenger Hunt on February 14th and 28th from 11am to 12:30pm. Participants can schedule by stopping at the front desk or calling the AWC at 910-643-2101.
