The psychiatrist's patients have been murdered and he has received threatening phone calls from an unknown person seeking revenge. A detective is hired to investigate the case and analyze the events. During a conversation between the psychiatrist and his assistant about the phone calls, the detective unexpectedly appears and accuses the psychiatrist of killing his own patients, though the psychiatrist refuses to respond.
