The objective of this programme is to
present the concept and applications of
Finite Element Method. Participation in this
programme will be helpful in teaching the
subject AE2351 & ME2353 Finite Element
Method and Finite Element Analysis for the
6th semester B.E (Aeronautical, Mechanical,
Civil, Production and Automobile
Engineering) students.
PROGRAM CERTIFICATES
Participation certificates will be issued to
the candidates who attend the program in
full, by the Center for Faculty Development,
Anna University, Chennai-25.

ABOUT THE COLLEGE
J.J. College of Engineering and Technology was
established in the year 1994 by a munificent
trust J.J. Educational Health & Charitable
Trust formed by benevolent and philanthropic
educationalists of Tiruchirappalli. The college
is situated in Ammapettai village, 18 km from
the city abutting the NH45 in a green
ecofriendly and serene area sprawling over
more than 100 acres. It is approved by AICTE,
New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University,
Chennai. The college is offering nine under

Department of Aeronautical Engineering
started in the year 2006 offering B.E in
Aeronautical Engineering, The Department
included M.E (Aerospace Technology) from the
year 2013. The department has well equipped
laboratories for Aerodynamics, Aircraft
structures, Propulsion, Avionics, Aircraft
systems etc., The major research area of the
Department are Blended Wing Body (BWB)
aerodynamics, Wind turbine aerodynamics,
Wind effects on buildings and structures,
Composite materials development, Flow
simulation over control surfaces, Drag
reduction on airplanes and other aerodynamic
bodies.
