Goals
 To understand common mistakes made by
audience members and not repeat them
 To create a memorable skit or visual aide to
demonstrate one or more of the audience
etiquette rules
Visual Aide
Create a slide show or poster detailing seven
audience etiquette rules. Presentations
should include pictures representing the
rule.
Skits-each person of your group has a job
Scriptwriter  1 person
Rule Checker  1 person
Creative Consultant -1-3 people
Skit
Scriptwriter
 Using all of the information from your
team, compile a script or very detailed
outline of a performance of your play.
 Have the script approved by you instructor
by having them initial it.
 Contribute your ideas and listen to the ideas
of others.
Rule Checker/Leader
 Read the audience etiquette list found in
canvas and make sure your groups
discussion focuses on these rules
 Make sure that your skit will demonstrate
what is acceptable behavior to your
audience.
 Contribute and listen to ideas and make sure
all group members contribute.
 Lead Rehearsals
Creative Consultants
 Contribute and listen to ideas.
 Combine ideas to create a good story to
share.
 The consultants must all agree on an idea
for the group to do it.
All Team Members
 Have fun.
 Make it appropriate.
 Make it effective.
 Perform in the final skit.
 Add props, costumes, etc as time allows.
 Work in a way that will not distract other
teams.
The Skit
 Should be 2-3 minutes
 Should address the rules in canvas.
 Should be rehearsed and performed well
 Should be enjoyable and/or interesting to
watch
 Does not need to be funny, but it can be
 You will have 3 school days to work on
this before performing.
