1. Objective of the Internship
 To have students hands on experience on
building IoT prototypes.
 To understand the role of program in getting
work done by electronics devices.

real time application, exploring the new trends
and various tools.

1. Intoduction to IoT
 Internet of Things is the networking of physical
objects that contain electronics embedded within
their architecture in order to communicate and sense
interaction amongst each other.
 In the upcoming years , IoT based Technology will
offer advanced levels of services and practically
change the way lead their daily lives.

 Modern Application
 Smart grid.
 Smart cities.
 Smart homes.
 Healthcare.
 Earthquake detection.
 Radiation detection/hazardous gas detection.

 The arduino uno is an open source microcontroller
board based on the microchip.
 The board is equipped with sets of digital and
analog input /output pins that may be interfaced to
various expansion boards and other circuits.

 To work with ardunio boards, knowledge of c and
c++ is essential as arduino platform follows similar
language construct to code, skills of variables,
controls statements, objects is enough to program
Arduino boards.

 We live in a world of sensors. You can find different
types of sensors in our homes , offices , cares, etc.
 Working to make our lives easier by turning on the
lights by detecting our presence , adjusting the room
temperature.

 An actuator is a component of a machine that is
responsible for moving and controlling a
mechanism or system, for example by opening a
valve.
 In a simple terms , it is a “mover”. An actuator
requires a control signal and a source of energy.
 An actuator is a mechanism by which a control
system acts upon to perform an operation or task.

 The ESP32 is a low-cost Wi-Fi microchip, with a full
TCP/IP stack and microcontroller capability produced
by ESpressif system in china.
 This is a small module allows microcontrollers to
connect to a wi-fi network and make simple TCP/IP
collection using Hayes-style commands.
 The ESP8285 is an ESP8266 with 1MiB of built-in flash
,allowing the buildings of single-chip devices capable of
connecting to Wi-Fi.

 A personal area network (PAN) is a computer
network for interconnecting electronics devices
centered on an individual persons work place.
 PAN can be used for communication among the
personnal devices themselves offer connecting to a
higher level network and the internet.

1. Android is an open source operating system
developed smart phones by the google.
1. It works on the principle of Linux kernel, it has
various layer, for developer there is a layer called
application layer at that layer various functionalities
are provided.

 Air Contamination is caused because of the nearness
of unsafe materials and natural atoms in earth
climate.
 It has unfriendly effect on living being, for example,
peoples, creatures, sustenance crops, and can
likewise harm the common habitat.
 It might result in sensitivities, destructive infections,
for example,cardio vascular illnesses,lungs ailments
and can likewise cause demise.

connecting with other peripherals.

 The below figure shows various components being
used in the proposed prototype.

On the whole this internship was a useful experience
I have gained new knowledge, skill, and met many
new people. Related to my project I worked in this
company and I mainly learnt about how to use IoT
in many application, How to implement it through a
simple project.
